Welcome to HotelGuide.Networks' directory of hotels and hotel reviews for Kauai, Hawaii!

Lush, tropical and wild, Kauai teems with verdant mountains, waterfalls, lagoons, challenging hiking trails, and golf courses offering demanding play amid breathtaking scenery. As the northernmost of the 130 Hawaiian Islands, Kauai indeed personifies the most widely held image of Hawaii as a lush tropical paradise. Scenes from King Kong, Jurassic Park, and other films have been shot here against mysterious, seductive backdrops. Seven climate zones, arid to moist, are on Kauai, where weather conditions vary more than anywhere else in the 50th state. The densely forested central region is the rainiest, with Mount Waialeale under a deluge of up to 600 inches annually. The Napali Coast's 22 miles of shoreline with 3,000-foot cliffs qualifies as Hawaii's most remote wilderness and is accessible only via air, sea or foot, the latter recommended only for experienced hikers. Other island landmarks include Waimea Canyon, Kilauea Lighthouse, Fern Grotto, Menehune Fishpond and Poipu Beach Park. Fun on Kauai includes whale-watching cruises and helicopter tours, and cultural appeal can be found at the Children's Discovery Museum, Kauai Historical Society, Kauai Museum or the Waioli Mission House. Kauai accommodations range from intimate hideaways and rental condominiums to resort hotels.
